With that in mind, here are some guidelines and recommendations for each piece of content that you submit. Please take some time to review them.
About Vibe’s Blog
Who is our target audience?
- Primary target audience:
- Client-facing professionals who work as independent freelancers or at micro and small businesses (1-99 employees).
- End-users: employees, managers, directors, C-suites, etc. who use Vibe to engage and impress their clients during presentations, as well as to host coaching and training sessions.
- Evaluators: IT managers who would evaluate system compatibility, security, and reliability factors.
- Decision Makers: IT managers and C-suites who would evaluate cost-effectiveness and organization needs. However, in SMBs, the end-users are often the decision-makers themselves.
- Client-facing professionals who fall under these top industries:
- Healthcare – Doctors and therapists use Vibe to communicate with patients, conduct training, teach and visualize procedures or overall medical conditions as part of consultations.
- Creative Agencies and Studios – Account managers, producers, and designers use Vibe for visual communication with clients, creative reviews, and project management.
- Business Services – Consultants, estate planners, financial planners, and virtual coaches use Vibe to impress clients during presentations, to annotate over graphs and documents, and to explain abstract and complex concepts
- Engineering and Construction – Architects and construction managers love Vibe for its compatibility with tools they already use, and the ease of sharing of their boards. They can also save their work on the Vibe Canvas cloud, instead of having to keep track of documents or photos of traditional whiteboards.
- Government Agencies and Non-profit Organizations – professionals use Vibe as a training tool and its flexibility with many app integrations.
- Client-facing professionals who work as independent freelancers or at micro and small businesses (1-99 employees).
- Secondary target audience: Teachers and professors from K-12 to university, as well as entire administrations use Vibe as a solution for hybrid distance learning and on-site teaching.
What topics we focus on?
In general, posts we accept from guest contributors include tips, guides, how-tos, and advice on the following themes:
- Hybrid work: brainstorming sessions, meetings, presentations, remote team collaboration, streamlining work and increasing internal team productivity.
- Education: hybrid distance learning, on-site learning, homeschooling.
- Professional Services: meetings with clients, presentations to improve sales activities and professional services.
- Virtual business activities: coaching, training, visualizing procedures, visual communication, etc.
- Entertainment: playing games, watching movies, browsing the Internet, streaming videos, video chat, etc.
Publishing Requirements
- Post length: the article should be a minimum of 1,500 words in length. Posts longer than this are good as well.
- Original and high quality: we do not accept duplicate or syndicated content as guest posts.
- Easy to read: include headers, subheaders, short paragraphs, and bullet points. All of these make articles easier to read.
- Insert images in pieces: suggested amount is 3-5 images. Not all stock images, please. Guest contributors are welcome to use screenshots, graphs, charts, visuals, and images from our website.
- Outbound links: make sure external links (data, quotations, research) are to authoritative sites.
- Link to your site: no more than 2 links to your company’s website, and only if it’s highly relevant to the blog post.
- Link to Vibe: at least 2-3 links to other Vibe webpages (homepage, blog pages, product pages, etc.) should be included in your piece.
How to Submit a Vibe Guest Blogging Post
- Step 1: Make sure your topic hasn’t already been published on our website.
- Step 2: Send an email to INFO at VIBE (dot) US with “Guest Blog: [Proposed Post Title]” in the subject line, and be sure to include the following information:
- A few sentences describing your proposed post and a high-level outline.
- A few words about the intended target audience for your blog (for example, high school teachers, administrators, etc.).
- A bio of roughly 80 words detailing your role and experience.
- Full disclosure of any commercial interest in all products or services mentioned in your blog post.
- Step 3: We’ll do our best to respond within 5 workdays.
- If your pitch is chosen, you’ll then start drafting! Give us a deadline for when you expect to submit the article for us to review. If you haven’t heard from us, please follow up in two weeks.
- Step 4: After you’ve written your draft, send it to us as a Google Doc (remember to give us editing access).
- If the draft meets our quality standards, we’ll move onto editing.
- If the draft does not meet our quality standards, we’ll let you know that we cannot move forward with the post.
- Step 5: We will edit the content to align with our standards. If we need anything else on your end, we’ll let you know.
- Step 6: Based on the needs of our editorial calendar. A review of your post will take up to 2-3 weeks after you’ve submitted the draft. We’ll let you know when the post is scheduled to go live.
